Butter cream Icing




1bag of confectioner’s sugar (2.2lbbag /1kg)

1Cup Crisco shortening

2/3 cup milk

Combine the confectioners’ sugar and shortening together in a bowl. With a fork I cut up the shortening in small pieces in the sugar .Pour your milk in and mix up with your fork. I do this to help get the sugar moist with the milk before using my electric mixer .Mix with electric mixer on low speed for 2 minutes then medium speed for a few minutes then turn up to high to get everything blended in until smooth This recipe is simple to make and quick. Store unused icing in an air tight container and put in refrigerator I have also frozen this icing if not going to use all right a way.
